Why HDPE?

At ROwat Water Control, we use HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) because of the various benefits this material offers in flow control systems. Here are some reasons why HDPE is distinctive:

Durability and Corrosion Resistance:

HDPE is extremely durable and resistant to chemical influences and corrosion. This means it is not affected by most chemicals, making it ideal for use in environments where it it might be getting into contact with various types of water and contaminants where this might occur, for example WWTP inlets.

Long Lifespan:

Due to its high resistance to physical damage and chemicals, HDPE has a long lifespan. This reduces the need for frequent replacements and maintenance, which is cost-saving in the long run.

Flexibility and Strength:

HDPE combines strength with flexibility, making it highly resistant to cracks and breaks. This flexibility also makes it easier to customize our products when this in certain projects is required.

Lightweight:

HDPE is lighter than many other materials such as carbon steel or cast iron. This makes transportation and installation easier and less costly, requiring less heavy machinery, people or tools.

Environmentally Friendly:

HDPE is recyclable and has a lower environmental impact compared to other materials like cast iron or carbon steel. This makes it a more sustainable choice in flow control projects considering the ecological footprint.

Who is ROwat Water Control?

Robin Rook is the Business Development Manager of ROwat Water Control. Robin has been active in various positions within our group of companies and active in the Water control division for over 5 years.
